Publishers Clearing House and Southwestern/Great
American Inc., announced today an agreement making
Publishers Clearing House the exclusive marketer of
Southwestern’s well known Heritage House line of
distinctive figurines, sculptures, dolls and music
boxes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We’re very excited to be able to offer these
high quality collectibles to our customers,” said
John Princiotta, Senior Vice President, Marketing
for Publishers Clearing House. “While many people
first think of sweepstakes and magazines when they
hear the name Publishers Clearing House, we now have
a broad array of products appealing to a wide range
of interests. It’s especially important for us to
include in our product mix unique items, like
Heritage House collectibles, that aren’t available
in stores.” This arrangement allows the direct
marketing powerhouse to further expand its product
selection beyond publishing and position itself for
continued growth.
“We’re very pleased to have a marketing
arrangement with a sophisticated multi-channel
marketer like Publishers Clearing House to offer our
line of fine collectible products to a broader
audience,” said Paul Stansberry, Vice President of
Marketing for Heritage House. “This partnership
between two leading direct marketers with nationally
recognized and trusted brands promises to be a
win-win agreement.”
