A Quick Primer on Men's Jewelry

November 29th, 2011 Jewelry

Who says women get to have all the fun? Although men's jewelry might not have all of the glitz and glamour that it does for ladies, that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of beautiful accessories that can complement a fella's outfit. Whether it's a ring, a tasteful cross necklace or a handsome watch, as a man you've actually got a number of options available you. Of course, most men aren't exactly educated when it comes to varieties of jewelry. If you're interested in sprucing up your fashion, however, here are the basics when it comes to men's accessories.

1. Rings. Chances are, you're not looking for the kind of ring a lady might enjoy. Don't worry - just because it goes around your finger doesn't mean it has to be encrusted with bright, flashy diamonds. In fact, many men's rings are quite modest and make for great accessories. Look for a material like tungsten - it's reflective and can come in a number of different patterns.

2. Necklaces. A nice cross necklace can be a great accessory, but if you'd like something a little simpler, there are plenty of elegant chains made from white or yellow gold. Tucked under your shirt, it can be the perfect addition for those looking to spruce up their outfits before heading out for the night.

3. Cuff links. If you wear a lot of nice clothing, you probably already have a decent collection of cuff links. These are jewelry pieces that are frequently unnoticed, but when they are, you can bet that you want them looking nice. You can find cuff links in an incredible number of styles and materials, so get out there and start looking!
